Job Title: POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW Location: HSC - Central Campus / Remote Job Type: Limited Term Employee Group: Pos Doc (Union&NonUnion) Department: Political Science Contract Duration: 12 months, with an option to renew for an additional 12 months Hours per Week: 35 Posting Details Overview Applications are invited for two Postdoctoral Fellowships in the Digital Society Lab at McMaster University as part of a collaboration between the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering. Successful applicants will be integrated into an innovative and versatile research program at the nexus of digital technology and public policy. They will also be expected to assist in designing course materials, trainee/teacher resources, lesson plans, course syllabi, and curriculum related to the recently launched cross-disciplinary Master of Public Policy in Digital Society program, including its forthcoming executive education stream. Duration and Funding The term of the fellowship is two years. Local, national, and international applicants are welcome to apply. Selection will be based upon the candidates’ research potential and fit with the Digital Society Lab and Master of Public Policy program. The salary is $60,000 CAD/year with benefits.
