Canpotex is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst, Sales & Operations Planning (22-04) to join the Operations team in our Saskatoon office.

Canpotex is currently undertaking several exciting initiatives focused on people, processes, and technology with an upcoming relocation of our head office within Saskatoon and accompanying a shift to a Hybrid Work Model.

What you will do:
-Provide analytical and execution support across the Sales & Operations Planning functions in order to meet service level requirements and minimize cost.
-Provide business analytics and data gathering to support the development and maintenance of detailed Capacity Planning models; including reviewing trend and statistical analysis based on historical information.
-Assist in monitoring and tracking actual performance to plan and developing a post-mortem monthly review; sharing recommendations and findings across business functions.
-Undertake quality-related projects and liaise with both internal and external sources in order to obtain relevant information, gather feedback and complete such projects on time and on budget.
-Collaborate with the Operations team to help identify opportunities to create cost-effective business processes and reduce time to completion.
-Analyze data to identify problematic areas, identify root causes and suggest improvements.
-Conduct simulation modeling to quantify the effect of system changes to overall operating costs and customer service impacts.
-Support the planning and implementing supply chain optimization programs.

What you will bring:
-Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, Applied Science, Business or a related field.
-Minimum three to five years of relevant work experience in a supply chain or operations management role.
-Demonstrated computer skills to maintain databases and spreadsheets to produce accurate reports and analyze large quantities of data.
-Knowledge of programming in C#, Python or VBA is considered an asset.
-Experience with financial modelling, cost/benefit analysis, decision tree analysis and data mining is considered an asset.
-Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
-An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
