Wage Rate: $7,630.55                

Schedule: C01 Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, T01 Tuesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties

An examination of popular film as a social practice, considering both how mainstream movies take up social issues and how audiences interact with films and film culture. 

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Professional and educational background in the field; previous experience teaching at the university level. MFA or PhD (or near completion), or equivalent professional experience.

*Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement.  The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount.  If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
