Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a reliable, hard-working individual to fill the role of Material Handler at our wooden elevator in Killarney, MB. Reporting to the Wooden Elevator Manager, the Material Handler will be responsible for all activities related to the handling and shipping of animal feed.
Responsibilities:
• Receiving, storing, handling, drying, blending and loading of animal feed;
• Monitoring stored product conditions and maintaining and cleaning facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment;
• Perform or assist in routine maintenance and repairs;
• Other duties as assigned;
Qualifications:
• Previous work in a grain elevator or animal feed facility experience is an asset;
• Experience with agriculture, farm equipment and a mechanical aptitude is preferred;
• Must be capable working at heights, in dusty conditions and outdoors;
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record;
