Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties

An introductory survey of Western music, from the time of Mozart to the present. Composers studied include Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Verdi, Wagner, Debussy and Stravinsky. Students are not required to have previous knowledge of music.

Required Qualifications

Professional and educational background in the field; experience in classroom teaching desired as well as experience with online course development and teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

Terminal degree (PhD or DMA) or equivalent professional experience.
