Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties

This course provides insight into the varied functions of drawing including expressive purpose, communication, information, organization, idea synthesis and drawing as a form of thinking. A variety of media including graphite, charcoal, conte, wet media, collage, digital media, mixed media and hybrid approaches are included.

Required Qualifications

Professional and educational background in the field; experience in classroom teaching desired as well as experience with online course development and teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who hold a minimum of a Master’s degree.
