As a Gas Fitter "A" at United Rentals you are responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting temporary heating solutions. You'll have the potential to work towards leadership roles in our Service Department.

Wage: $46.58 p/h take home pay

Pension: $4.45

This is a full time, permanent unionized role including:

Duties include the following:

• Install, troubleshoot, service and perform repairs on construction heaters & related heating equipment both in the shop and on customer job sites

• Perform all work according to our Safety program at all times

• Develop apprentice Gasfitters if required

• Work as part of a team to achieve our corporate and branch goals

• Drive to and from construction/client sites on a regular basis in a safe manner

• Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

• Must be an 'A' ticket Gasfitter

• Mechanically Inclined

• Experience working with propane will be considered an asset

• Strong trouble shooting experience and a desire to solve complex problems

• Adaptable to working independently as well as part of a cohesive team

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in any weather

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
