| Looking for a permanent full time Caregiver for elderly lady aged 88 years at our home in Mississauga, Ontario [Heritage Hills/Fairwind Drive]. Must be mature, patient and able to cope with elderly situations. Job Type: Permanent, full-time position Overtime: 1.5 times the wages after 44 hours per week. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment. | |

| Essential Skills | • Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed diet; • Change bed linens, wash and iron laundry and assist in keeping bedroom and washroom neat and clean; • Ensure that room is aired on a regular basis; • Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds • Take and record vital signs from time to time; • Observe any significant changes in health condition and report changes immediately to the family members; • Provide companionship and conversation in a bid to keep elderly stimulated, occupied and contented; • Accompany to doctor’s appointments; • Provide mobility assistance in and around the house and ensure home safety |
