Duties: Reporting to the Chair of Creative Arts, the Instructor will be responsible to teach courses which may be delivered onlineand/or in-class at the Exchange District Campus in the fall 2020 term in the Communication Design Program. The instructor will be responsible for the development and delivery of curricula and evaluation of student performance for Media Exploration 1 . The course will focus on teaching theory and application of software to create animations, motion graphics, videos and interactive projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of post-secondary education in Digital Media Design, Graphic Design or directly-related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Several years of recent and related motion graphic design industry experience.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier, and After Effects as well as other animation, video and audio editing tools
- Effective graphic design skills as well as motion graphic design (animation) skills
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Experience in developing and delivering presentations

- Commitment to lifelong learning

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience teaching adults in a post-secondary setting

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
