Position Description

McMaster University’s Faculty of Engineering invites applications for a three-year teaching-focused contractually-limited appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, located on the main university campus to begin on July 1, 2022.

 The department is interested in candidates with specialization in the field of computer engineering.

The successful applicant must have or be very near completion of a PhD in electrical and computer engineering, or a related discipline, by the time of the appointment.  It is anticipated that the successful applicant will enrich the learning environment for our students in a variety of ways, such as innovative methods for course delivery and curriculum evolvement. There is also an expectation to contribute to the department’s collegial and collaborative intellectual community, as well as university-wide inclusive excellence goals and priorities.
