The team 
The Ted Rogers School of Management's Diversity Institute at Toronto Metropolitan University was founded in 1999 to improve equity, diversity and inclusion practices in organizations. The Diversity Institute develops customized strategies, programming, and resources to promote new, interdisciplinary knowledge and practice about diversity with respect to gender, race/ethnicity, Indigenous peoples, abilities, and sexual orientation. It collaborates with industry, government, not-for-profits, and academics.
Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University (TRSM) is developing collaborative, creative leaders who will drive 21st century business forward while making a positive impact on society. Home to nearly 10,000 students and more than 250 industry-connected faculty, TRSM is Canada's leading diverse, entrepreneurial business school centred in an urban learning environment. The Opportunity

Are you a bilingual professional who has experience in partnership development and who enjoys building and maintaining partnerships? If this sounds like you, you will want to hear more about our Bilingual Senior Manager, Partnership Development and Stewardship position.

The Bilingual Senior Manager oversees and manages the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH)’s partnership development projects and associated industry projects from project conceptualization to development and implementation. They maintain strategic local and national partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders, and develop networks with industry and community partners to explore and secure new projects. The Bilingual Senior Manager enhances the Diversity Institute’s reputation and relationships with cross-sectoral partners to facilitate collaborative and action orientated research opportunities.

Qualifications
To help us learn more about you, please provide a cover letter and resume describing how you meet the following required qualifications:

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree in business, public affairs or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of varied experience in stakeholder relations, particularly with private sector, government, academic and community partners, with at least 2 years of experience managing staff in a unionized environment.
  • Bilingual in French and English, as well as excellent oral communication skills in both languages.
  • Experience in strategic partnerships and relationship building with key stakeholders, community and industry partners Extensive networks external to the university and business development.
  • Experience in developing successfully funded proposals preferred.
