The School of Rehabilitation Science is in the Faculty of Health Sciences, characterized by interdisciplinary, inter-professional, and inter-institutional cooperation with overall goals of excellence in education, research and clinical service.

McMaster’s School of Rehabilitation Science is acclaimed nationally and internationally for its educational programs and leadership in clinical research and evidence-based practice. The School has professional Masters-level programs in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech-Language Pathology as well as research graduate programs (MSc and PhD) and a Master of Health Management Program in partnership with the DeGroote School of Business.

Full-time Contractually Limited Position in Physiotherapy

The School of Rehabilitation Sciences, McMaster University, invites applications for a full-time contractually limited position which will support the School of Rehabilitation Science entry-level physiotherapy professional programs.

A minimum of a post-graduate Masters in a related field or a combination of equivalent professional experiences and education is required. Candidates must have the ability to teach physiotherapy clinical skills and knowledge, be in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) or eligible for CPO registration. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching in entry to practice physiotherapy programs, specifically in the field of orthopaedics, as well as the ability to instruct practice management and business concepts. The candidate will also be proficient with integrating technology into teaching and learning, as well as experience in curriculum and resource development. Previous experience with pedagogical research, as well as teaching in a problem-based, self-directed curriculum would be an asset.
