About University Business Services The OpportunityThe Cook 1 (senior production assistant) is an essential member of the kitchen staff for the Food Services Team. As the successful candidate, you will be part of Ryerson's commitment to local sourcing and sustainability, and commitment to promote fresh, wholesome, sustainably sourced food for the campus community. You will be responsible for the preparation and production of hot food items in support of cafeteria food operations and catering functions while ensuring all food handling, safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained, following menu, recipes, standard operating procedures and directions from the manager and the chef.
