| Are you someone who loves to get out and make connections with the community you live in? Are you passionate about the North? Are you a creative problem solver who loves a good challenge? If you answered yes, this role might be the perfect fit for you! We are looking for a permanent, full-time talent recruiter! You will be responsible to seek out talented individuals to join our team who work above the 60th parallel. You will help recruit individuals to the public broadcaster, and work towards their successful onboarding into our Corporation. You will also attend various events and meet stakeholders in such locations as Whitehorse, Yellowknife, Iqaluit and Montreal. We are looking for someone: Who possess: • Knowledge of and connection with the Northern Communities and Northern employment opportunities • Undergraduate or Community College certification in a related field or combination of years of experience and education • A valid driver’s license Who will: • Attract/recruit for positions in northern stations using their network and through community outreach • Support candidates through the recruitment process • Support the onboarding and integration of new employees • Identify potential internal candidates for development • Ambassador of CBC/Radio-Canada at events Who is: • A creative thinker, insatiable curiosity and as a desire to learn new things • An independent, agile self-starter with excellent judgment and strong critical thinking skills and resourcefulness • Able to manage high volume of time sensitive requests while multi-tasking high level of confidentiality files • A strong communicator • Comfortable working with a remote team • Proficient using Microsoft Office and Google applications and an applicant tracking systems • Able to speak English, French, Indigenous languages, or any combination of these languages A diverse workforce is important to us, we encourage Indigenous people, women, members of visible minorities and people living with disabilities to apply.
