| Location: Central Vancouver Island, BC Job Reference #: MSLT_1805 Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $22-$25 per hour D.O.E. Reporting to the Mining Lab Manager, this position performs duties related to the preparation and processing of ore samples, including sample preparation, Wet Assay and Fire Assay analysis, and other analytical processes as required. Training will be provided in Vancouver main laboratory. This position is based in a mine site facility and will follow a staggered work schedule. Experience and Qualifications • Min. college or diploma in Chemistry and Science • Min. 1-2 years' experience • Fire Assay, AA and ICP-OES instrument • Handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs • Familiarity with chemicals/lab procedures • Multitask with minimal supervision • Occupational health/safety regulations • Experience with computer operations | |
