Apprentice Welder

CEDA is looking for an Apprentice Welder to join their team in Bonnyville!

 

Experience Required: 

 

• Registered Apprentice
• Local To the Bonnyville Area
• Able to work in a shop environment
• Experience on a Tack Table
• Able to Tack Weld With SMAW
• Safety Awareness
• Experience Cutting Pups with both Plasma and Oxy torches
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements
• Ability to work with other departments including QA/QC
• Overhead crane experience is a must have
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to keep projects on target               
• Job requires ability to work with tools, steel, pipes, heads, shells, nozzles,  and other materials.
• Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80 lbs. for 50 feet is required.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g. hard-hat, safety boots, etc.)
• Supports safety and continuous improvement programs
