"Duties: The Senior Security Analyst/Investigator is responsible for providing highly sophisticated analytical and investigatory support for the Information Protection and Compliance area and the College at large.

This position reports to the Manager, Information Protection and Compliance, and plays a key role in any forensic audits involving staff and student activity, as it relates to the College’s information systems. The incumbent will work closely with Human Resource Services, Corporate Legal Services and Security Services, when required, and is expected to maintain a high degree of confidentiality when performing investigations and providing services.

The incumbent also assists with the development and implementation of cyber security practices, products, and risk control techniques. Identifies security risks to corporate information and ensures that appropriate data security procedures and products are implemented to meet security and compliance requirements. Assists with configuration and monitoring of firewalls, servers, intrusion detection systems, and other security related mechanisms. Effective security management is necessary to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the College’s corporate information assets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A diploma related to Information Technology; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- A current CISSP or CISM or CISA or CRISC or GSEC certification
- Significant experience working in an enterprise information technology environment including progressively increasing levels of responsibility
- Demonstrated experience with a broad range of information technology areas including; network communications, network operating systems, application development, and desktop operating systems and cloud computing
- Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of the procedures and processes required to manage and respond to security incidents
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise level information security hardware, software tools, programs and forensic techniques
- Demonstrated experience conducting structured information risk assessments using established cyber security framework processes such as ISO, NIST, CIS and COBIT
- Demonstrated experience with digital forensics including the examination of computers and other digital devices, digital evidence recovery, analysis and preservation as related to forensic investigations or security incidents
- Demonstrated experience developing information security policies, standards, guidelines or procedures

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a post secondary education sector
- Formal training in recognized change management principles

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
