| Vacancies: 2 Job Duties: - Load and unload construction materials from trucks. - Move materials around construction and renovation sites. - Assist with building demolitions and structure dismantling. - Sort, clean and pile salvaged materials. - Assist various tradespersons on work sites as instructed. - Use hand tools at work sites as instructed. - Remove materials, rubble and other debris from work sites, as required. - Assist with work site cleanup and the disposal of hazardous materials. - Follow safety procedures and report any violations to management. - Perform other activities at constructions sites, as directed. Employment Requirements: • Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time. • Willingness to learn and the ability to follow instructions. • Ability to use various hand tools. • Capable of working independently and as part of a team. • Asbestos safety training would be an asset, but is not required. • Ability to attend multiple work locations across the Greater Victoria area. • No experience necessary as training will be provided. • English language ability. Job Details: • $25.00 per hour. • Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) position. • Physically demanding position requiring various levels of manual dexterity.
