Ministry of Finance: Victoria Senior IM/IT Project Manager Experienced and capable in a high volume and fast paced environment, the Senior IM IT Project Manager provides project management/consulting services and plans ongoing business and technology needs consistent with government and ministry strategic plans. The successful candidate will possess communication and project management skills that prove invaluable as they meet with program managers and executive to identify how technology can be used more effectively to resolve business issues and collaboratively establish strategic plans and budgets that will drive substantive change to existing systems and business processes. This key role is one that requires a comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies and processes as you deliver multiple systems projects from initiation through to project closing. You are accountable for the successful delivery of complex, high risk IM IT projects, including development of all project documentation, developing strategies needed to meet agreed-upon schedule, budget and scope, risk management, leading project teams of systems professionals in defining work assignments, working with third party service providers, and facilitating stakeholder meetings/workshops. Qualifications for this role include: - Completion of a degree in the computer science, business administration project management or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. - Minimum three (3) years' experience leading or managing complex IM/IT or business transformation projects. - Minimum three (3) years' experience managing and overseeing concurrent projects with multiple competing priorities and timelines. - Experience managing project teams and working with diverse stakeholders. - Experience in the development of business cases and/or concept cases (e.g., feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, options papers). | |
Salary | $72,724.97 - $83,014.85 annually plus 9.9% Temporary Market Adjustment |
