As a Class 1 CDL Driver at United Rentals, your goal will be to deliver equipment to our customers in a safe, timely, efficient and courteous manner. Additional responsibilities include the following:
·Â Â   Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
·Â Â   Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") consistent with DOT classification CDL-A
·Â Â   Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
·Â Â   Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections
·Â Â   Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
·Â Â   Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:
·Â Â   Valid Class 1 CDL with acceptable driving record
·Â Â   High School Diploma or GED
·Â Â   Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience
·Â Â   Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
·Â Â   Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
·Â Â   Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
·Â Â   Diligent attention to safety
