Premium Ticketing is a fast-paced department concentrated on driving revenue and delivering exceptional, high-end experiences for Toronto Blue Jays guests. The team focuses on consistently delivering upscale, success-driven events, with the mission of making our clients the hero and assisting them in achieving a return on investment. We strive to develop a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship with our clients and become a staple in their ongoing hospitality strategy.

 

The Toronto Blue Jays Ticketing Team is looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join the roster as a Premium Activation & Operations Associate. This role will support gameday operations & special events, experiences, and activations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Event & Experience Activation
    • Assisting with executing client hospitality events and select special projects throughout the season
    • Executing gifting touchpoints, giveaway drops and courier deliveries
    • Assist with Sales and Service client engagement initiatives
    • Assist with gameday experiences; batting practice and other opportunities as they arise
    • Execute additional event-day operations as required, including unique suite set-up request or merchandise deliveries
    • Collaborating cross-functionally to support our event day staff as needed

 

  • Operations
    • Assist with contract management, and inventory management
    • Assist with general suite maintenance; tracking of artwork & furniture needs throughout season
    • Generate suite occupancy reporting; daily department reports that track suite reservations

 

  • Client Service
    • Provide client facing service on event day, including resolving fan experience issues and providing leadership with security, catering and fan services staff.

 

  • Department Administration/ Communications
    • Assist in the execution of email marketing
    • Assist with in-office celebrations
    • Collaborate with cross-departments and teams as needed
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders

 

 

Qualifications

  • University degree or College diploma in sport management, business, marketing or a related field
  • A Service mindset and passion for creating memorable experiences
  • Experience in client service, hospitality and/or other industry related field
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task with attention to detail and sound judgment
  • Able to work hours outside of a typical workday (includes evenings, weekends and holidays) is required for executing Toronto Blue Jays game days and other Rogers Centre events
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to be proactive and solve problems
  • Natural collaborator who works well cross-functionally and in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Not required, but beneficial:

  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster/Archtics
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with Marketing Cloud or other email marketing platforms
