This position reports directly to the Manager of Linear Programming. Your primary responsibility is to work closely with the Merchandising & Planning teams to create show lineups. This includes monitoring all airings and making changes necessary to optimize profitability.

 

What you will do...

  • Obtain first draft of Showspread with new and relevant existing items from Merchandising
  • Review product lineup with buyer/vendor partner
  • Discuss show strategy with Merchandising & Planning (historical performance, targets, GP%, aged vs new inventory, AO plans). Analyze and identify risk/opportunities in show script to deliver targets against historic DPM
  • Understand current promotional offers
  • Ensure TS, BB stills, Value Pages and Get The Looks are submitted
  • Review final scripts with Merchandising (if applicable)
  • Complete script - script/show order, length of time, back-up of items, easy pays, estimated units and sales expectations
  • Plan script revisions hour by hour
  • Sign-off on Pre-Show Checklist (confirm inventory, including possible cancellations, AO’s, Easy Pays, start quantities, scripted guests, on-air graphics, demo items)
  • Work with Production team to manage support transfers and deletions
  • Finalize show line-up with Buyer and guest (e-mail scripts to guest) confirm spelling, pricing, S&H, Easy Pay are correct
  • Ensure all info is relayed to hosts, guests and crew via Show Package
  • Responsible for same-day show revisions based on sales performance
  • Support and communicate intraday changes. Revise scripts and determine course of action for on-air execution (determine if support material, graphics, models, demos, samples, set - are affected by revision)
  • Coordinate any ‘all hands on-deck’ execution changes when a day needs considerable rework
  • Communicate same-day show revisions to SEC. If busy add Showroom.
  • Issue AO's as needed (after-hours)
  • Ensure all feedback from launch hours is being incorporated into next-day revisions
  • Collaborate with broadcast team (hosts & producers) to maximize sales
  • Monitor and adjust overnight Programming schedule
  • Other duties as required

  • Technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to work a variable shift schedule
