| We are looking for an Electrical Power Systems Design Engineer. Phase One of the project will last 3 months, involving feasibility reports and analysis of renewable energy sources. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing renewable and unconventional electrical power sources located in Calgary, Alberta with a goal of establishing reliable renewable power sources for a major electrical energy consumer. Phase Two will start once a design decision has been made, the Electrical Power Systems Design Engineer will be responsible to institute his chosen design. The engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the installation process of the chosen electrical generation system. | |

| Education Requirements | Bachelors degree in Engineering. |
| Experience | The candidate will be a university graduate in Engineering who has at least 5 years experience in generation of electrical power using unconventional and/or renewable electrical generation techniques, with an ability to put ideas and concepts into production. A proven track record of taking concepts from the drawing board to plant floor is essential. Experience in project tendering is a definite asset. The candidate will also have experience in dealing with being in compliance with regulatory agencies, and inspections, be computer and software literate, and possess excellent communications skills, and leadership qualities. Experience in Biomass Based Power Plant commission, keyed to dual use natural gas and biomass fuel, experience in solar electrical generation, and non-conventional electrical energy generation. |
