Reporting to the Manager, Opex Planning, the Bilingual Operational Specialist will support the program delivery and help meet the needs of French speaking employees. They will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure the success of the program including supporting valued stakeholders, providing training and mentorship to certification candidates, and working in partnership with the 3rd party vendor.

 

The successful candidate will offer creative insights to enhance and continuously evolve the program. They will be highly motivated, energetic, passionate, and committed to the program’s success. They will support the program strategy and assist with program development, reporting and presentation requirements, as needed.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Deliver interactive virtual and in-person training of the Kaizen program curriculum to candidates in both English and French
  • Provide 1:1 mentorship/coaching to candidates throughout their Kaizen project journey.
  • Track detailed progress for each candidate, through all phases of the certification requirements
  • Ensure Kaizen project benefits and cost savings are validated and reported accurately
  • Promote Kaizen projects and ensure they are recognized to leadership
  • Support Kaizen program candidates to ensure projects stay on track, assist in resolving obstacles and challenges, engage cross-function collaboration where necessary
  • Be an active participant in program working level and governance meetings
  • Support various program requirements: coordinate meetings and presentations, engage key stakeholders, create, and translate program material
  • Support Tools and automation function in French language development
  • Contribute innovative ideas and improvements where possible, while constructively questioning current methodology and status quo. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS /COMPETENCIES:

  • 5+ years of professional and telecom industry experience
  • Excellent bilingual verbal and written communication skills, especially; training, listening and technical documentation
  • Kaizen Certification, Yellow/Green Belt
  • Excellent presentation and confident oral communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to garner trust and ability to interface internally and externally at all levels including senior management
  • Experience training adults in a business subject and environment, and providing coaching/mentoring support
