Senior Manager of Reporting and Analytics.

Reporting to the Director, BI and Analytics, you will be accountable to work with various reporting teams across the organization to provide analytical insights on the financial impact of our wireless customer activity from a revenue and subscriber base viewpoint.  This includes showcasing key results with thorough data sets and intuitive dashboards. The primary area of focus is performance and trends within our existing Wireless subscriber base.  The role will lead a team of talented BI professionals who oversee, enrich and provide greater visibility to the analytical capabilities of the Finance BI and Analytics team.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead the delivery of analytical insights using data to tell the business narrative to drive critical decisions
  • Lead the development of outputs in Tableau that display the results of our analytics delivering key messages in an intuitive fashion
  • Build relationships with Business Leaders, Technical Leads and other key stakeholders to align on priorities, areas of focus and data presentations
  • Partner with IT to lead the streamlining of processes and improve efficiencies
  • Initiate and drive change by identifying areas of analytical focus that lead to results with integrity
  • Drive continuous improvement on the team via experience, knowledge transfer, knowledge repository and process improvements and socialization
  • Automating and establishing controls for integrity
  • Ensure timely delivery of automated reports
  • Hands on dashboard build when demand dictates

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who has proven, exceptional communication capabilities. They will possess very strong problem-solving skills and must be able to present a strong sense of confidence, focus and leadership to other stakeholders.

 

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of Telecommunications analytics experience required
  • Extensive experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Proficiency with SAS and/or SQL
  • Experience leading analytics teams including career development and coaching
  • Demonstrated experience with building BI delivery roadmaps collaborating with Senior Leadership and selling through the path to transformation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced exciting environment
  • Driven by results with a determination to constantly improve them
  • Proven ability to embrace change and instigate new ideas
  • Ability to inspire, influence and align across, up and down the organization
