Business Analyst is to take on the challenge of supporting the SFU Field sales team targeting the “single family” dwellings segment with the Rogers cable network. Support front line sales and management team to measure and analyse sales results, market conditions, frontline productivity and project based sales initiatives. The role extends and requires a strong communicator to work with cross funtiontal teams. The individual does require advanced Excel and data mining (SQL) skills to construct data models, sales dashboards, and support team leaders with their territory performance.

Accountabilities:

·        Develop predictive models for forecasting and measuring sales results

·        Measure team productivity related to sales leads, new programs and projects and community events

·        Take action on program readiness checks and highlight those programs that require added support

·        Work with Channel Performance team to assist in forecast, cross channel analytics and value creation

·        Create adhoc reports as needed

·        Manage and maintain sales team functionality with SalesForce

·        Schedule and lead weekly review calls 

·        Work with Finance, and Sales Optimization teams on business cases for new initiatives and team quotas

·        Salesforce Operations – updated / edits 

Qualifications:

·        Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance of Economics

·        2+ Years experience in Sales or Telecom industry

·        SQL - write code and develop reporting steps

·        Excel VBA - create, edit and write VBA in Excel

·        Strong written and communication skills

·        Assets - Salesforce. Use of Salesforce
