| St. Brigid's Dairy Ltd. is in need of Dairy Herdsperson EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full Time - Permanent DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Monitor, recognize and treat livestock health problems (organic basis) 2) Assist with calving 3) Implement pasture rotation plan 4) Carry out breeding program 5) Maintain livestock performance records 6) Follow safety and bio-security procedures 7) Operate farm equipment and assist with equipment maintenance 8) Perform general farm duties such as milking, feeding and other daily farm chores WORKING HOURS: 42 hours/week, shift work between 5:00AM - 10:00PM, working hours may vary depending on stage of production, 1 varied day off per week WORK LOCATION: Brussels, Ontario, Canada | |
