Senior Analyst – Planning Data Specialist

As an experienced Supply Chain Analyst, you are comfortable managing large datasets and drawing meaningful inferences. You also have a broad understanding of end to end supply chain planning processes. You collect, organize, and interpret information and work collaboratively across business teams to drive value and continuous improvement in the data that feeds our critical Supply Chain planning systems.

 

As the Senior Analyst – Planning Data Specialist, you will report to Senior Manager - Supply Chain Planning Systems in a growing planning Center of Excellence (COE). What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with business users to understand and define metrics that support our S&OP processes
  • Own and generate periodic reports such as forecast accuracy, days of stock and other metrics as identified by the business
  • Collaborate with planning process enablement analyst to identify data sources, extract and transform data to support analytics activities
  • Support the development, monitoring and validation of key data integrations that feed Supply Chain planning systems
  • Support the profiling and validation of planning master data
  • Run ad-hoc analysis based on business requests to facilitate S&OP discussions
  • Partner with business teams to identify optimal forecasting algorithms
  • Continuously strive to improve performance of our integrated planning platform
  • Support data stewardship and data governance activities and initiatives as needed

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, engineering, operations management, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience that demonstrates fluency in end to end supply chain analytics
  • Previous experience working as a demand or supply planning analyst is desirable
  • Experience analyzing, manipulating, transforming, and interpreting large and complex datasets (i.e., millions of rows)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the implications of master data on overall planning process, including experience with data profiling and data quality
  • Previous hands-on experience in SQL, R or other data management languages
  • Previous experience in Tableau, PowerBI or other visualization tools
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; and highly detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to contribute to and support multiple projects in a fast-paced performance environment
  • Previous experience with Oracle EBS an asset
