We’re looking for a star candidate to join the Media Technology team in the exciting new role of Senior Manager, Media Architecture.  In this role you will be leading a team comprised of multi-disciplinary subject matter experts, planning, designing, and overseeing execution of technology initiatives that will deliver on Rogers Sports & Media’s objectives.  You and your team are to be beacons of change and thought leaders across the organization, accelerating our business through this transformational period and beyond.

What you will do…
•    Lead the Media Architects in the initiatives that contribute to the strengthening of our foundations of security, identity access management, compute and storage – across both private and public cloud environments.
•    Oversee and prioritize the Media Architects’ activity throughout the planning, and on-time, on-budget implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring there is consistency in execution as it relates to our Reference Architecture and Technology Roadmap.
•    Provide expert guidance and leadership on the evolution of the Reference Architecture and Technology Roadmap.
•    Own project scoping and budgeting in order to secure necessary funding of business initiatives.
•    Forge close relationships with cross-functional teams within Sports & Media and across Rogers Communications including: Corporate, IT, Security, Governance, and Enterprise business.
•    Actively participate in industry organizations and bring that knowledge to bear within Rogers Sports & Media.
•    Participate in and lead vendor RFIs/RFPs, including lab and proof of concept evaluations of new equipment, technologies, and vendors.
•    Deliver on the infrastructure needs of our Innovations Lab(s) in both private and public cloud.
