We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Powerhouse Engineer to be part of our Keeyask Project for approximately 50 months. The work location will be at the Keeyask construction site with single status accommodations. You will reside in a modern construction camp hotel-like facility that is among the highest quality facilities of its kind in the country. The Keeyask Camp includes top notch recreation facilities including full gymnasium with two sports courts, indoor running track, weight room, games room, movie theater and restaurant-style dining complex. Staff will work a rotational schedule that consists of 21 days at the Keeyask site followed by 7 days off. You must be prepared to travel and work outside normal business hours and you will be required to take Cross Cultural Awareness Training at the project site. Airfare and transportation to site will be provided by Manitoba Hydro. The Keeyask Project is a collaborative effort between Manitoba Hydro and four Manitoba First Nations – Tataskweyak Cree Nation, York Factory First Nation, Fox Lake Cree Nation and War Lake First Nation – working together as the Keeyask Hydropower Limited Partnership (KHLP). The project is located 725 kilometers northeast of Winnipeg on the lower Nelson River and 30 kilometers west of Gillam, Manitoba. Responsibilities:
