| The Nurse Practitioner at the All Nations' Healing Hospital - Women's Health Centre works within a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals, including midwives, to provide comprehensive person-directed and culturally responsive care focused on improving access to preventative health care for women. The NP provides services to the communities of the File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council to manage and treat health concerns unique to women across the life span. Services provided by the NP include: - Birth control - IUD insertion - PAP tests - Breast exams - Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) - Bladder infection assessment and treatment (UTI) - Bladder incontinence assessment, treatment, and care - Pessary options and fittings - Treatment and lifestyle options to manage menopausal symptoms - Assessment and management of menstrual issues The Nurse Practitioners in the Women's Health Centre are recognized as leaders in the provision of women's health services in southern Saskatchewan. | |
