Radio Traffic Coordinator Job Overview We are currently looking for a Traffic Coordinator to join our Regional team in Calgary. Review and process sales orders, following up with the Account Manager on any errors or inventory challenges. Management of Airtime Inventory, with a focus on maximizing revenue. Creating and scheduling Programming elements, features and commercial breaks as provided by the Program Director and General Sales Manager. Daily Traffic Logs are pro-actively edited on a daily and weekly basis. Once edited, Creative is applied and they are printed and exported to the Automation system. Logs are reconciled each morning. Liaise with Sales, Creative, Promotions, Programming, Engineering and Credit. Qualifications: Previous broadcasting traffic experience or related post-secondary education. Customer service experience and skills, especially working with Ad agencies, Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management. Able to effectively meet deadlines and handle last minute revisions. Detailed oriented, with excellent organizational and data entry skills. The ability to problem solve and work independently but who is also a team player, willing to assist their Traffic colleagues when needed. Demonstrated computer literacy with PC based software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with WideOrbit Traffic & Automation is an asset. Occasional overtime may be required.
