PBR Enterprises Ltd. dba McDonald’s Restaurant in Fort St. John, BC is currently hiring 7 permanent full time Food Counter Attendants. Part time positions are available for qualified candidates willing to work flexible shifts, evenings, later night shifts and weekends. Duties/ Responsibilities: Take customers’ food orders. Assemble and wrap food such as hamburgers, fries, salads, beverages, shakes, coffee and desserts. Prepare all food products according to approved procedures. Serve customers at counter and drive through. Work with cash register. Ensure that production area is organized and clean. Replenish condiments and other supplies in services areas. Maintain courteous interaction with customers all times. Ensure working conditions of food preparation equipment and notifies management immediately when equipment requires repair. Ensure appearance is neat, professional and clean at all times. Initiate actions to correct customer’s complaints and refers customers concerns to management immediately.

Terms: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, flexible shift schedule, 2 days flexible days off. Work shift schedule is expected to be shifts of 7.5 hours up to 8 hours, depending on the business operations. These shifts vary from early morning, afternoon and evening/night shifts.

Education RequirementsBasic reading, writing and math skills and partial high school or equivalent preferred.

ExperiencePrevious Quick Service Restaurant experience preferred, but not required since on the job training will be provided.
