| Vacancies: 02 (two) Employment Term: Full Time Must be available to work early morning, evening, night and on weekend Must have Steel-toed safety boots Overtime: 1.5 times after 40 hours a week Education: Completion of secondary school Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Security & Criminal Check Basic Security Clearance / Criminal Check required, Drug Test Work Setting / Work Conditions: Construction and Renovation Residential - Indoor/outdoor Physical demanding, tight deadlines, bending, crouching, kneeling, a combination of sitting, standing, walking Work Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland You Main Duties as Carpenter are, but not limited to: • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of a wood, wood substitute, lightweight steel, and other materials • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware • Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor | |
