With a 35,000 square-foot facility and a team of skilled tradespeople, we can handle any project, big or small. Job Duties: 1. Preparing and shaping wooden furniture and fixture parts using various woodworking tools such as saws, drills, routers, and sanders 2. Record information on each product inspected, including any defects found, corrective actions taken, and any other relevant details for quality control 3. Assemble different wooden or metal parts together to create subassemblies or complete furniture and fixtures 4. Have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications and requirements for each product 5. Reinforce assembled furniture and fixtures with dowels or other supports to ensure their strength and durability 6. Install hardware such as knobs, handles, and hinges to doors and drawers 7. Inspect subassemblies and finished products for any defects, damage, or inconsistencies ensuring that the final product meets quality standards 8. Mark defects or damages parts for repair is necessary to ensure the final product meets quality standards 9. Fix minor defects, adjust the fit of parts, and make modifications to ensure everything fits together correctly Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided. 3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy 4. Ability to work independently or as part of a team 5. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects 6. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment | |
