| Paradise Acres Ranch, located in Vancouver Island, 15 minutes from North Nanaimo and 5 minutes from Parksville, is looking for a Accommodation Services Manager to assist with its business operations. The right candidate must have several years of experience in a supervisory capacity in the hospitality sector, proven experience in the equestrian industry and must have completed a college diploma in hotel management or other related discipline. Job Duties: -Manage and monitor the horse trail riding program. -Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the efficient operation of the ranch. -Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. -Assist in marketing the ranch's services and pricing strategies. -Negotiate with suppliers the provision of materials and products needed for the business operations. -Manage and oversee the booking and payment processes. -Oversee staff training and schedule as per the business' needs. -Assist in the recruitment and supervision of staff. -Manage and oversee the ranch's facilities to ensure they are fully operational. -Oversee the regimen for health and safe-keeping of the Ranch's horses. -Manage and oversee quality control measures. -Promote a positive experience for all and attend and resolve customer complaints. Employment Requirements: -Proven experience in the equestrian industry -Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. -Ability to perform well under pressure with an attention to detail. -Ability to work a variety of shifts.
