Rogers is seeking a Sr. Developer for Rogers CPE Diagnostic Tools (Customer Premises Equipment). Reporting to the Software Development Manager for the IT Field and Tech Support channels at the Rogers Park Brampton Campus, you will be responsible for the technical and systems analysis, design, development, unit testing, system integration testing, implementation and support of the Rogers CPE Diagnostic Tools. What you will be doing... Responsible for the technical and systems analysis, design, development, unit testing, system integration testing, implementation and support of the Rogers CPE Diagnostic Tools Role includes custodian of the established architecture ensuring that documented standards and procedures are adhered to and assure the smooth interpretability of the applications. Participate in End To End delivery of highly complex / multiple domains including implementation for projects and maintenance requests Make technical decisions; articulate and communicate the overall solution as well as running knowledge transfer and code review sessions Create, Read and/or Update technical and functional documentation (SDS, DDD, and PCR) Function effectively with the Development, Project and Delivery teams Manage risk, planning, and mitigation across supported applications and impacted areas. Participate in developers' code review and provide comments Help in documentation and providing solution documents What you have... 4+ Years hands-on experience in the Java, J2EE Technologies. Including (Servlets, JSP, JSF, Struts, EJB, Web Services) Excellent knowledge of Linux Operating System and Shell scripts Solid experience of software development using Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, BootStrap, Javascript, JQuery, Angular 2+,Oracle/SQL and etc. Experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs and SOAP Webservices Excellent knowledge of Microservices Architecture and SOA Working experience at least in Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project is required Familiarity with application server technologies such as WebLogic, and Tomcat knowledge of enterprise messaging technologies such as JMS knowledge of data security: Encryption, Authentication, Key management Experience working in agile/waterfall team environments and is a self-starter, conscientious member of the team Excellent knowledge of DevOps and continuous development and integration Solutions focused with a track record of taking initiative to find the best ideas Good working knowledge of ClearCase , ClearQuest, and SVN Good Communication (verbal and written), Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Ability to self-manage competing demands in a timely and organized fashion while maintaining a professional level of dependability with sound judgement and decision-making skills.
