| Job type: Full-time, Permanent Hours of work: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Work location: Family lives near 168th Street and 84th Avenue in Surrey, BC Start date of employment: March 1, 2021 We are seeking a warm, caring and experienced home support worker to care for our mother. Duties: - Provide care and companionship for our mom while we are at work - Administer bedside and personal care such as aid in ambulation, bathing and personal hygiene - Plan and prepare meals according to a diabetic and cardiac diet - assist in feeding - provide medication reminders - Drive our mother to medical appointments - Organize activities such as visits to the nearby park using a wheelchair - Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to our mom’s care | |

| Credentials | - Class 5 driver’s license and be comfortable driving the family car provided - A driver’s abstract - Current 1st Aid and CPR certificate - Food safe certificate |

| Essential Skills | - Familiarity with peritoneal dialysis an asset but not required |
| Experience | - Must have minimum two years of related experience in care of the elderly or completion of a training program in care of the elderly |
