Indigenous Anti-Human Trafficking Coordinator
1 full-time position in Thunder Bay, ON
The Provincial Indigenous Anti-Human Trafficking Liaison will work with the community to identify community needs and assist in building capacity to address trafficking and support Indigenous survivors of trafficking. The IAHT Liaison will assist in providing targeted service-planning and delivery supports to Indigenous agencies and communities, as well as assisting non-Indigenous agencies seeking to provide culturally appropriate services to Indigenous survivors of Human Trafficking.
Mental Health Worker
2 full-time positions in Greenstone, ON and Thunder Bay, ON
The Mental Health Worker will provide wholistic services that meet the needs of Indigenous women and their families through a range of services focusing on mental, physical, spiritual and emotional well-being through a cultural, trauma-informed, gender based and family centered approach.
Youth in Transition Worker
1 full-time position in Sioux Lookout, ON
The goal of the Youth in Transition Worker (YITW) is to support youth in their successful transition out of the child welfare system into adulthood. YITWs will help youth to develop and pursue their goals, and will support them to identify, access, and navigate adult service systems relevant to their specific needs. The YITWs will also support youth to connect to existing supports and resources within their communities including, housing supports, education resources, employment services and training, life skills training (e.g. financial management, household management), health and mental health services, and legal services.
