The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McMaster University is seeking an outstanding individual for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, preferably in the area of multisensor-multitarget tracking and information fusion with sensor management, with special emphasis on surveillance and autonomous vehicles. Applicants will hold a Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Strong potential for excellence in research and teaching is essential. Applicants will be expected to establish a strong externally funded research program, supervise graduate students, and foster existing or new collaborations with other departments and faculties. Evidence of leadership skills, excellence in service, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures is also required. Registration as a Professional Engineer of Ontario or eligibility to acquire registration in Canada is an essential qualification.
