The opportunity

Our International Treasury team is expanding to meet the needs of our growing business.

We are seeking a specialist who has knowledge and experience in internal international finance, an aptitude to contend with international legal and tax requirements with different corporate structures, and has proven leadership with the ability to multi-task.

 

What you'll do

• Oversee all aspects of the international finance function and holding companies
• Liaise with international service providers and employees
• Maintain corporate governance for all international entities
• Effectively participate on multi-functional teams
• Oversee the management of all intercompany loans

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in finance, tax or accounting, combined with completion of at least one of the following:
  • CFA, CPA or MBA
• 15 years related experience
• Education and experience in combination will be considered
• Proven leadership skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Exposure and understanding of TransCanada's corporate structure and legal documents

• Agile and flexible, and ability to work with ambiguity and uncertainty
• Thrives in fast paced environments
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proven ability to embrace, manage and champion change
