In this position, you will be immersed in Petro-Canada’s retail operations. You will coordinate a variety of national programs that improve marketing execution at our retail facilities, analyze performance data provided via third parties, and make recommendations to close gaps.

Key Accountabilities

  • Play a critical role in day-to-day management of various national retail programs
  • Produce and analyze key monthly operational performance reports
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on retail program execution and ongoing initiatives
  • Write succinct and impactful communications to internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Extract conclusions from data and present insights in a compelling manner to support business decisions 

Required Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • Prior industry experience is preferred but not required
  • Currently enrolled in a formal co-op program at an accredited post-secondary institution, and returning to full-time studies after the work term
  • Attach your transcripts with your application and clearly indicate the length of work term for which you are available
  • Possess a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Possess strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and other Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to internal and external audiences
  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
  • Strong collaboration skills: you collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the best outcome
  • Adherence to procedures: you don’t take or tolerate shortcuts and if the procedure is incorrect, you help to fix it

Working Conditions

  • Preference is a full 12-month work term, from September 2019 to August 2020 but will also consider a shorter 4 or 6-month work term
  • You will work out of our Westmount office in Calgary, Alberta, located at 4820 Richard Road, S.W.
