In this position, you will work in the Marketing Communications team to track and report performance of multiple media channels including web, social media, email, retail and broadcast. You will also be assigned to assist with external advertising through various media channels.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Gather data to create monthly performance reports for social media, website and email channels
  • Work with the channels specialists to develop high level analysis of the reports and present to the Marketing Communications team monthly
  • Assist the Direct Marketing Channel Specialist with planning and execution of Email campaigns (including attend agency briefings, develop email matrix (segmentation, variable messaging and offers) create and manage timelines as well as participate in the QA (quality assurance) process for deployment of emails   
  • Conduct competitive social media monitoring and present findings regularly to the digital channels team
  • Assist with day-to-day execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing communications activities  as required

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Current enrolment in 3rd or 4th year of a full-time degree in communications, marketing, or public relations at an accredited post-secondary institution, and returning to full-time studies after the work term

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other meaningful information:

  • You will work out of our Oakville office, located at 3275 Rebecca Street
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • This is a 4-month work term, from September 2019 to December 2019
