The opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Gas Project Operations Integration and Commissioning, we’re looking for an Integration Coordinator to join our team. In this role, your primary focus will be supporting our Integration Managers and project and operations teams through the integration and turnover of projects from implementation into TC Energy Gas Operations. This is critical to ensuring that all project deliverables are complete and acceptable to operations. You will also be involved in providing Operations and Maintenance risk and cost modelling support throughout all phases of Pipe and Energy green field project development and asset acquisitions. This role is a great opportunity for exposure to the technical, business, and commercial aspects of our business.

 

What you’ll do

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project turnover expectations are identified, aligned, and met and that any change impacts are monitored and reported
  • Support and coordinate project integration and turnover of projects from project implementation into operations following established processes and requirements while ensuring related schedules are monitored and maintained
  • Prepare integration management documents such as scorecards, project turnover memorandums, reports, and project organization charts and facilitate review meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress, highlight areas of concern and expedite solutions
  • Provide risk and cost modelling, estimating, and analysis support on Greenfield and Acquisition projects related to life cycle organizational, operations, and maintenance costs / risks as well as integration and organizational build up costs for new and existing assets
  • Assist with decision modelling for Business Development opportunities
  • Assist in the preparation of Operating Cost due diligence reports and senior management presentations as needed
  • Development and maintenance of standards and approaches related to cost and risk modelling and analysis
  • Maintain a database of operating costs, risks, and asset performance used to assess assets across Canada Gas

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Commerce, Economics, Project Management or related
  • University bachelor’s degree or technical college diploma will be considered
  • Four (4) or more years of applicable work experience
  • An alternate combination of education and experience may be considered

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional designation
  • Understanding of overall project stage gates and project management methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  • Self-starter, with a pro-active approach to problem identification and resolution
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple and conflicting priorities
  • Risk management, operations budgeting, and evaluations experience
  • Knowledge of cost modelling, estimation, statistics, and scenario analysis
  • Experience with formal decision analysis tools and techniques
