BC Ministry of Attorney General Victoria Business Analyst Salary $61,665.45 - $70,367.02 annually plus 6.6% Temporary Market Adjustment An excellent opportunity to join this dynamic team and apply your technological skills The Information Systems Branch is responsible for providing strategic IM/IT leadership for the justice and public safety sector, and for the provision of IM/IT services to support our sector program areas and stakeholders. The office includes four divisions: MCIO Division, Client Services Division, IT Security, Privacy & Operations Division, and the Strategic Initiatives Division. This position will provide technology planning, business analysis, systems design and client support services. Provides technical and project management expertise for multiple, concurrent, medium sized projects from initiation to completion. The capital of British Columbia, Victoria is a beautiful city, with beautiful beaches and harbours, and a variety of provincial parks to explore. Located on Vancouver Island, Victoria offers a bustling downtown scene and has a wide range of restaurants and entertainment venues to choose from. Qualifications for this role include: • Degree, Diploma, Certification or equivalent education in the Computer Science field; or a combination of 5 years IM/IT related education and working experience. • Minimum 3 years’ experience developing and maintaining client communication networks, managing relationships with stakeholders. • Experience providing business analysis related to integrated custom applications with complex business processes. Preference may be given to applicants with experience in any or all of the following areas: • ITIL certification • PMI (Project Management Institute) or equivalent project management experience, certification or training • Agile Methodology | |
