ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, LABOUR ECONOMICS

The Department of Economics at McMaster University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in labour economics at the rank of Assistant Professor (or Associate Professor in the case of an exceptional candidate) commencing July 1, 2019. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their PhD or who expect to complete their PhD requirements prior to July 1, 2019. 

The Department of Economics is a research-intensive academic unit. The appointee will be expected to conduct an independent research program yielding significant peer-reviewed publications, to attract external peer-reviewed research funding, to teach undergraduate and graduate students, and to supervise doctoral students, www.economics.mcmaster.ca
