Dredging and Dewatering technician

The Opportunity

Our Edmonton, AB location is currently looking for Dredging and Dewatering technician to join the team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining dredges and centrifuge systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes;
• Operates centrifuges and electric dredges;
• Maintains centrifuges and dredges;
• Rigs up and rigs out dredging and centrifuge equipment;
• Performs general duties required to complete work, such as: debris removal, clean up, set up, etc.;
• Completes all required paperwork.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• A minimum of a class 5 driver’s license with a clean 5-year drivers abstract;
• Class 1 license preferred with wheel loader experience considered an asset;
• Experience operating front-end loaders;
• Minimum of 1-year previous centrifuge operating experience;
• Minimum of 1-year previous experience operating remote electric dredges;
• Previous dewatering experience.
